Happy Brewday to all,

Meeting minutes:

6:04    Meeting Called to order

            President’s Comments

      Introduction of new members.

      AHA Conference is in June in Denver.

      First round of regional judging for AHA Conference is in Tallahassee.

      AHA Membership Drive.  Walter has applications.

6:05    Vice President report on upcoming competitions.

      This months Klub Contest is Scottish Ale.

      Next months Klub only competition is Extract brews 50% of the fermentables must be from extract.  This is open to any style.

      The Inter Klub competition next month is Belgian Beers.

      April competition is experimental beers.  These do not have to conform to AHA guidelines.

6:07    Treasurer report

      17 members need to renew.

      Klub has about $2000.00 in the bank.

      Treasurer’s plan is to maintain and grow membership.  All members are encouraged to spread the word.

6:09    Secretary report

      Last month meeting minutes read.

      CASK.ORG email addresses available to all who are interested.

      Officer email addresses are as follows:

      Klub jockey box is available.  Contact Mike if you need to borrow it.

      Walter has new membership cards.

6:11     Tech Talk by Jim

      Water.  Anyone wanting a copy let me know at the next meeting.

      Possible topics next month are: Off Flavors, Brew Software, or Sugars.  Contact Jim to help him decide.

6:45    Open Floor

      Ken will place an order for hop rhizomes for all who are interested.

      Patrick at The Cellar has 15.5 gl kegs for sale.

6:48    Meeting Adjourned

      Inter-Klub competition started.
