Hello Everyone,

I'd like to start off by thanking everyone who came out this weekend. It's was a good time with lots of good beer and good

food! And a big thank you goes out to Jim for bringing all his equipment over and helping with the All Grain demo.

Also, a big thank you goes out to all the cooks out there! There was so much food I couldn't try it all, but I would like to say

good job on the pumpkin pie, the baked beans and the manicotti. They were outstanding.

I'd like to wish Congratulations and welcome to one of our newest members, Dan Otts, who told us he was a chemist so

he got elected to the club's newest post, Yeast Master. With his background he will be a big help to all the club members

who wish to grow and harvest their own yeast. Or those members who just want someone to translate the list of ingredients

on their food labels into English.

Now for the meeting minutes:

3:15 Jim and myself started the dough-in on the Mash
3:40 Meeting was called to order.
3:41 Old business was discussed
3:44 Copies of the proposed By-Laws handed out for member review/modification.
3:45 The following club names were nominated:

           The First Coast Brews Club
           The Honky-Tonk Brewers
           Cowford Ale Sucking Klub (C.A.S.K.)
           The SouthEast Brewers Club
           The SouthYeast Brewers Club
           Dixie-Land Brewers
           The Florida-George Brewing Coalition

4:05 Discussion on forming 2 new committees:

           Fund raising committee, no volunteers
Competition and Special events committee, also no volunteers

4:10 Meeting was adjourned and the All Grain Brewing Demo continued.

All members may vote for their favorite club name via email. To cast your vote just email me at: spitlerm@comcast.net.

Voting closes on Friday, 17 March, with the winning club name to be announced Friday night.

For our next meeting we will be voting on the club By-Law's. For those members who missed the last meeting, I'll try and

get a copy and email it out. Please review these recommendations and come prepared to discuss modifications and vote

on the By-Laws at the next meeting.

Speaking of our next meeting, we are trying to find a new location to hold them at. So, Walter, Keith, Jim and myself are

going to Seven Bridges this Wednesday to see if we can have our next meeting there. When I announce the winning club

name on Friday night, I'll also let everyone know what the results of that are.

If anyone is interested in being on any of the new committees please let me know.
