July 2013 - No Comp - FCC
August 2013 - Wheat Beers (50% or more grain bill)
September 2013 - Unsession Beers (over 1.070 OG)
October 2013 - Oktoberfest! Categories 3 (Vienna Lager and Oktoberfest/Marzen) and 7A (Northern German Altbier) and 7C (Dusseldorf Altbier)
November 2013 - Clone Wars. Brewers must submit a bottle of the commercial beer they are cloning as well as their own. Judges will fill out the short form for this one.
December 2013 - Ole’ Woody. We’ll be brewing Aaron’s double-IPA recipe and picking the best to age in a bourbon barrel. The recipe will be posted on the website soon.
-Entry Guidelines-
1.) All klub members in good standing are eligible to participate.
2.) Must submit 2 bottles
a)- Brown or Green glass
b)- 12oz or 16oz
c)- Each bottle must have a bottle id form filled out and attached.
3.) All entries must conform to BJCP style guidelines to advance (Brewer Rankings).
4.) The style entered is up to the brewer to decide with the exception of entries submitted for consideration for the club only competitions.
5.) Repeat entries of a style previously entered, must be from a new batch/recipe (modifications to a previous recipe are accepted), will not count towards brewer rankings, but can be used for the brewer of the year and club only competitions.
