So last month you brewed 5 gallons of a really nice blond ale and you are either hungry for medals or you just want to advance your CASK brewer ranking. How can you take that beer and enter it into more categories in the next competition? You can use a tincture.
This Saturday (March 10th) John will be doing a “how to” presentation on making and using tinctures to alter the flavor of your beer, cider, or mead. The meeting is at Seven Bridges. We will be judging Irish and Scottish beers starting at 5pm. The tincture presentation will start at 6:15pm.
CASK took home some medals this weekend at Coconut Cup in Miami. Congratulations to the following members:
Full details can be found on Reggie.
Hurricane Blowoff opened today!
The competition is limited at 350 entries with a maximum of 6 entries per brewer. It’s a smaller competition so if you are planning on entering six beers you’ll want to enter sooner than later.
CASK pays for your first two entries. You must be current on your dues. We have a railroad for this competition. Get your entries to Just Brew It by the end of business on Thursday, March 29th.
