Congratulations to Jason Click on winning Brewer of the Year. It was a tight race this year…only one point separated first and second place!
Congratulations also goes out to Mike Lentz on being voted as Member of the Year and Lifetime Member. Thank you for all you’ve done for the klub!
Great Job to all brewers who advanced their Klub Rankings this past year! A lot of hard work goes into brewing all these beers, ciders, and meads. The rankings page will be updated soon with 2020 results, we will let you know.
Don’t forget, our February meeting will be held on February 13th at Seven Bridges. Please make sure to register your February Interklub Smoke Beer and drop off at Just Brew It by close of business on February 12th or bring to Seven Bridges by 5pm on the 13th.

After feedback from members and discussion amongst the officers, we have decided to extend the menu to include dishes provided by members, not just individually wrapped items. Extra precautions for sanitation will be considered. Hand sanitizer and masks will be required in beer tap and food areas.
If you are planning to bring a wort share beer, please email Jesse to let him know what you are bringing so he can pre-print labels.
We look forward to seeing everyone at King Maker Brewing on Saturday, January 9th!

Congratulations to Jason and Denise Click for their Abbaye Normale tapping yesterday evening. The Clicks brewed their gold medal winning Belgian Dubbel at SJ Brewing Company in Yulee, Florida. Many family and friends of the Click’s came out to enjoy this fantastic beer, including many from CASK as well. How proud they must be!
Come join Jason and his family and friends at SJ Brewing Company in Yulee on Thursday, December 17th, at 5:30 pm for the tapping of his gold medal Belgian Dubbel.

Congratulations goes out to the winners of our December Interklub Competition!
GOLD: Ian Dibble – Pastry Beer
SILVER: Ryan & Therese Anderson – Winter Seasonal
Honorable Mention: Darryl Dauphin – Winter Seasonal
Honorable Mention: John Peterson – Pastry Beer
Please join us for our December club meeting this Saturday, December 12th, at Bold City. Due to social distancing, we will be meeting in the parking lot, between Bold City and Just Brew It. Judging will begin at 5 pm, followed by our social hour at 6 pm, and the business meeting will start at 7 pm. Please bring your own chairs. In case of light rain, if you have a pop-up tent, we encourage you to bring that as well. If the rain is too heavy, we will have to cancel the meeting, but will still figure a way to complete the judging. There will be a raffle, however we would prefer square payments or exact change to limit contact.
This month’s Interklub Competition is Winter Seasonal & Pastry Beers (BJCP Cats 30C & 31B). Please remember to register your entry online, print a label, and you may drop off your entries to Just Brew It by close of business Friday or bring your chilled bottles to the meeting at 5 pm. We will need two bottles of homebrew for judging.
- You have until the December meeting to nominate yourself or another member for officer for 2021. If you are interested, please email Mike Lentz at [email protected]. Your dues need to be current to run.
- King Maker Brewing’s Belgian Festival has been rescheduled to January 30, 2021. They will be looking for klub volunteers to provide and share samples of their Belgian beers.
- January’s Annual Banquet (01/09/2021):
- With consideration to COVID concerns and social distancing requirements with adequate ventilation we will move the banquet to King Maker Brewing this year.
- We are looking into catering options to reduce contact – more infomation to come.
- Anyone considering bringing food should consider individual servings (i.e. wrapped food).
Nominations are officially open for the 2021 C.A.S.K. officers. If you are interested in running for officer, please send an email to [email protected] and indicate what position you are interested in running for or nominate the member you believe would make a great officer next year.
