CONTINUAL EVOLUTION!

Back to electric. Problem solved. I bought a flexible silicon rubber heater and RTV'd it to a keg. It took 2 hours to hit boil, but I can safely tripple the wattage to 21 watt per in^2. I'm in the process of getting a quote to have a full jacket made and hot vulcanized to a kettle. It is simply a micro-steam jacket replacement. Think of a electric blanket that is glued to a keg.

With this last minute change, I'm moving to a single tier electric system. No turning back. I just ordered the stainless today.

Almost all of the stuff is here. I'm still waiting on 1" NPT half couplings and some elements, but want to test the HLT before determining final watt density for the BK.

I'm still working on scheduling with Joe for the welding. Should be an exciting rig. Photos to follow.
