Craft beer column

Roger Bull and I started a monthly column on craft beer. First one ran today. We plan to do tastings and cover stuff such as brewery openings/expansions, beer pairing, homebrewing , beer dinners, etc.

We also have a blog that will be updated more frequently. Feel free to post your own observations about the craft beer scene or tastings.

We had so much material for the first column that we didn't go very deep into the tasting part. We may put more details about future tastings online.

Thanks, I wish it was my only job, but unfortunately I do this in my spare time (or my own time). Still, it gives me an excuse to drink on the job.

You should incorporate interviews of beer aficionados for additional perspectives......and have Times Union pay for the beers!
