June Meeting and First Coast Cup Info

Please plan to attend our next meeting on Saturday, June 10th at Brewer’s Pizza.  As usual, social hour starts at 6 p.m. and the business meeting starts at 7 p.m. If you can help judge or steward, please arrive at 5 p.m.

An educational session on Maris Otter vs. Golden Promise base malt will start at 6:00pm.

This month’s Interklub Competition is Amber/Brown American (BJCP Category 19)

Please Include the Category and Subcategory on the entry label. Handwrite it if needed.

Please pre-register your beer on the CASK website and drop off your beer at Just Brew It in Riverside by EOB Friday or bring it to the meeting by 5 p.m. on Saturday.

Two Bottles per entry. 1 Entry per person.

First Coast Cup Announcements

Planning for the next First Coast Cup is well underway and there will be a volunteer sign-up sheet at the next couple meetings.  Please let us know if you are available to help for any of these dates/activities:
July 14th (6pm) – Transporting entries from JBI to Intuition

  • July 15th (Day) – Sorting at Intuition
  • July 16th – Pre-judging (Stewards welcome)
  • July 22nd & 23rd – Pre-Judging (Stewards welcome)
  • July 29th & 30th – Pre-Judging (Stewards welcome)
  • Aug 3rd (Evening) – Hotel setup & Transport entries from Intuition to Hotel
  • Aug 4th – FCC Day 1 (Reception, Stewards, Admin Room, Cellar Help, General)
  • Aug 5th – FCC Day 2 (Reception, Stewards, Admin Room, Cellar Help, Keg Comp Setup, General)
  • Aug 6th (Morning) – FCC Cleanup
