This past weekend the last Florida Homebrew Circuit competition, Best Florida Beer, was held and CASK not only won the competition by 8 points but we also won the 2017 Circuit Cup! Abbey Normale is here! CASK’s October meeting is this Saturday at Aardwolf Brewing. For those who can help out judging or stewarding we will start at 2pm so we can finish before the start of the meeting where we will announce the Abbey Normale winners. The agenda for the meeting can found here. |
| Speaking of Abbey Normale, if anyone has Belgian homebrew left Alewife is having a Belgian Homebrew competition on November 5th, from 1pm – 3pm. Entry information can be found here. Ten homebrewers will be pouring their beer and everyone in attendance will be able to vote for their top three beers. The event is free to attend for everyone 21 years and older. Two awards will be given, a fan favorite and a best of show as selected by a judges panel. Additional details for the event can be found in this Facebook Event link.
Lastly, please mark your calendar’s for this year’s AHA Learn To Homebrew Day on Saturday, Nov 4th. CASK will be holding a group brew on that day at Just Brew It. Details will be sent out as it gets closer. |
